Rowan

Rowan is a 20 year old, second year student studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in chemistry and minoring in physics. He can tutor English up to NCEA level 1, and Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Classics and History up to NCEA level 3. Rowan has a passion for learning and for sharing his knowledge with others.

He loves watching students achieve their full potential, by helping build confidence in difficult areas and challenging them to push the boundaries of excellence. Rowan has a personal teaching style, and likes to make concepts and ideas easier to engage with by relating them to the real world in ways students can appreciate. He uses this as a foundation for core understanding. Making a subject interesting is the key to success. In his spare time, Rowan enjoys sports, the outdoors and a good podcast.
